Removal of Rubbish that does not fit in your Wheeled Bin

• We offer a chargeable service for the removal of waste that will not fit in your wheeled bin.

• The cost of the service ranges from £10 for up to 6 standard items of waste although higher costs will be charged for larger items such as kitchen, bathroom units and DIY type waste.

• The normal waiting time for the service (up to 6 items for 1 £10 charge) is within 5 working days. Waiting times are longer when the service is busy. You will receive a further call from a member of our customer services team one day before we intend to call to let you know that the items need to be made available outside of the property (normally by 7am on the morning of collection).

• Examples of items which can be removed for a £10 charge (up to 6 items) would be anything which you would take with you if you were to move home - for example, chairs, tables, settees, wardrobes, beds, cabinets, fridges, freezers, cookers, microwaves, carpets, underlay, etc)

• We will only remove items from outside the property and our staff will not normally enter your home to remove items.

• It may be that we may need to arrange separate collections depending upon the type of items that require removing. For example, we would not remove a freezer at the same time as we removed a three-piece suite. This is because we need to use specific vehicles depending on the type of waste being collected, for example, we cannot collect fridges in refuse collection vehicles as the unit needs to be taken away on a flat back vehicle to have the gasses safely removed.
