Allotments

There are a number of allotments that are managed by Stockton Borough Council and others that are managed by Parish Councils and Allotment Associations. Please contact us for further information on groups near you.

Council Allotments

The average Council owned allotment is approximately 1/16 of an acre and are £28 per annum with a reduced charge of £14 per annum for Senior Citizens. Costs vary for Parish and Association allotments.

All Council owned sites have a water supply. However, some of the Parish and Association sites do not have water.

The Council does insist that all allotments are kept in a good clean state and well cultivated.

Please contact us for further information using our on-line form below or emailing/telephoning the Care for Your Area Team. You can also click onto the link on the left side of this page which will take you to the gardening advice section of the Royal Horticultural Society website.
