The Council has responsibility for the cleansing of 7 public toilets which are situated in the following areas:-
- Billingham Town Centre.
- Thornaby Town Centre.
- Stockton High Street.
- Norton High Street
- Yarm High Street.
- Preston Park
- Ropner Park
They are cleaned at regular intervals during the course of the day and are open to the public from 8.00am - 5.00pm from Monday to Saturday, apart from Ropner Park and Preston Park which are open on a Sunday. Due to problems with Anti-Social Behaviour, vandalism and graffiti we are no longer able to open the remaining 4 facilities on a Sunday.
