Environmental Advice

The Environmental Health Unit provide advice on a range of Environmental issues.

This is carried out for a number of reasons:-

Providing advise for the Council - during emergency incidents and with regard to projects proposed by the Council.

As a Consultee - providing input on all Planning Applications to ensure environmental issues and conditions as well as on Public Entertainment Licences and Environmental Agency Authorisations and Permits.

To members of the public - we will provide, free of charge, advice and information where possible. This generally involves support for students and school children involved in Environmental Projects.

Public Register - we maintain details of all Authorised Processes in this area, which is available free of charge for the public to view. Environmental Information - for a small administration charge, we will carry out a search on any particular piece of land for Environmental Information we have on that land. See below for details of our Land Quality Information search
