Have you ever wondered what Environmental Health find when they carry out a routine food hygiene inspection?
After an inspection all food businesses will now be given a star rating and will be given a certificate to display showing the star rating they have achieved.
The star rating means you can find the most hygienic places to eat within the Borough.
The following factors from the inspection will be used to create a star rating:
- Food Hygiene and Safety
- Structure and Cleaning
- Management and Control
These factors are the only ones that are directly controllable by the food business and are the reason they have been used to obtain the food business star award.
