Customer Service Standards - Council wide

At Stockton Council we are committed to giving the best customer service we can.

Our customers may be residents or non residents of the borough or people contacting us on behalf of public, private or voluntary agencies.

We aim to demonstrate that we are delivering high standards of customer service that can be measured, that potential improvements are identified and our achievements celebrated.

Our staff will:

  • Treat all customers equally, fairly and with respect.
  • Deal with all enquiries efficiently, courteously and confidentially.
  • Give you their name so you know who you are talking to.
  • Deal with complaints promptly, put things right when they go wrong and make service improvements.
