Thornaby Customer Services Centre

A ONE-STOP shop offering friendly, face to face help with Council queries is open for business in Thornaby.

Stockton Borough Council's Customer Service team is on hand in Thornaby Central Library to provide residents with improved access to a wide range of Council Services. These include Care For Your Area, Taxation, Housing Benefits, Pupil and Student Support and Private Sector Housing.

The new customer service centre was the first of three planned for the Borough. The Library building has been completely refurbished and now boasts four Customer Service desks for queries and information and two private interview rooms to discuss confidential information. People can also pay their council tax both in cash and electronically and make use of self service facilities including a freephone to other Council services.
