The Council together with Tristar Homes provides support and assistance to tenants of local authority homes who are victims of homophobic crime, racist crime or general crime committed in their home or in the vicinity of their home.
Support will also be offered to tenants who are victims of harassment, anti-social behaviour, noise and nuisances and where necessary will take appropriate actions together with other agencies such as the police.
The Council works with tenants to ensure the safety of housing estates and together with Tristar Homes will ensure all areas are well lit and secure (eg. alleygating).
