Bereavement Services

Both Registration and Bereavement Services are based at the Register Office in Balaclava Street, Stockton-on-Tees.  Together, our friendly, dedicated team offers a wide range of services and ceremonies for the major life events.

We are committed to easing the burden upon bereaved families and endeavour to meet their needs and wishes wherever we are able.

The Bereavement Services Section operates the burial service for cemeteries at Durham Road, Oxbridge Lane, Thornaby, Billingham and Egglescliffe.  We are also able to provide advice, information and guidance on a range of issues relating to burials, cemeteries, funerals and many other related issues.

Office opening hours:  Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

The Register Office pages of this website also contain information that you may find useful.
