Do I submit a Full application or a Building Notice application?

Building Regulation Application Forms

A Full Application:

If work is proposed to a building that is subject to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (this is mainly commercial premises, communal areas or flats) or if the proposed extension is to be built over or close to a public sewer, a full application is required. This application should be submitted with detailed technical drawings and specifications of the proposed work, plus the relevant fee.

Please be aware that Building Control applications are distinctly different to Planning applications and the two should not be confused - Please refer to the Full Application link at the bottom of this page

Building Notice:

A Building Notice may be accepted if the applicant or builder fully understands Building Regulations. You are not required to supply a specification or drawings; however a site plan is still required. Please refer to the Building Notice link at the bottom of this page

All applications should still be accompanied by a valid payment
