By Post

Cheques should be made payable to Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. Please quote your customer number and invoice number on the reverse. Address the envelope to Corporate Director of Resources, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, PO Box 10, Kingsway House, West Precinct, Billingham, TS23 2YS.Post dated cheques will not be accepted. If you need a receipt send the whole invoice with your payment.

By National Girobank

By completing a TransCash form at any Post Office and quoting account number 600-7228 together with your customer number and invoice number. A charge will be made by the Post Office for this service.

By Bank Giro Credit

By completing a bank credit slip at any branch of the National Westminster Bank and filling in the following bank details. A charge will be made to non National Westminster Bank customers

By Direct Debit

If you would like to pay by Direct Debit please contact Income Section, System Development and Income on (01642) 528385 or email us to request a direct debit mandate. A mandate will be sent to you and you will be advised of the instalments to be taken from your bank account by return. It is possible to change to this method of payment at any time. It is the easiest and most economical way of paying your invoice. It saves you time and postage and you do not have to renew it each time you receive an invoice. The mandate is under development for on-line completion.

By Telephone

To make a payment via our 24 hour telephone payments line ring 0845 130 3990, select option 5 Invoices and follow the instructions given. Calls are charged at local rate. Alternatively telephone the Income Section on (01642) 528385 during normal working hours. Please have your invoice number and credit or debit card details available. (Switch, Solo, Visa debit, Maestro, Visa credit, Mastercard.)
