Second and Final Reminder Notice

If we send you a Council Tax Second and Final Reminder Notice it will include a statement of your account together with details of the amount you need to pay to bring your instalments up to date.

As long as you bring your account up to date within seven days of the date of the notice, and you pay future instalments on or before the dates they are due, no further action will be taken against you.

If you do not bring your account up to date within seven days, you will lose your right to pay by instalments. You will then have to pay the full unsummonsed balance on your account within another seven days. If you do not, then the Council will apply to the Magistrates Court for a Liability Order. This action will incur total costs of £74.00 on your account.
