Enforcement Team
The Neighbourhood Enforcement Team has been established to patrol the Borough's streets to tackle a wide range of nuisance and environmental crime.
Stockton Council's Enforcement Service utilises a range of legislation including Local Authority, selected Police and DVLA Agency devolved powers which enable the council to impact on and deter flytipping, waste carrier offences, litter dropping, dog fouling, untaxed and abandoned vehicles, graffiti and noise nuisances.
The team comprises 20 Accredited Neighbourhood Enforcement Officers, an
Enforcement Support Officer and two accredited Town Council Enforcement
Officers patrolling Ingleby Barwick. Our fleet of vehicles
fitted with internal and external cameras and microphones.
Accredited by the Police, the Enforcement Team works closely with the
following agencies:
- Cleveland Police
- VOSA (Vehicle & operator Services Agency)
- DVLA (Driver & Vehicle licensing Agency)
- Trading Standards
- Environmental Health
- The Environment Agency
- Care For Your Area
