Apprenticeships, Entry 2 Employment and Private Training
Stockton Council's Tees Achieve service is contracted by Tees Valley Learning and Skills Council (LSC) to deliver Apprenticeship and E2E training programmes up to Level 3 and is the largest provider of work-based learning in the borough.
Communities Fund
The Communities Fund programme is about tackling worklessness and low
levels of skills and enterprise in the most disadvantaged areas. In
Stockton, 24 neighbourhoods have in excess of 25% of their residents
reliant on key government benefits, and these areas can be identified using
the Communities Fund Address Search tool.
The delivery of the Communities Fund programme within Stockton has been
split across five geographical or 'contract' areas, with each area being
the responsibility of one of the following organisations.01642

Vision:
Working together the Stockton-on-Tees 14-19 Partnership is commit to
providing exciting learning opportunities that will encourage and embed a
culture of lifelong learning for all. Across Campus Stockton our aim is to
empower learners so that they may confidently develop skills, attributes
and talents to succeed and prosper in their working and adult lives. We
recognise and value each individual learner and will ensure that our
collaborative offer places no limit to their learning and
potential.

Employer Engagement
The objective of the Employer Engagement Task Group is to:
- To secure sufficient and appropriate employer engagement in young people's education and training, in a measured response to the changing needs of our economy and of the development and delivery of the 14-19 education agenda.
- To encourage partnership with and the increased participation of the widest possible range of employers, from every sector, in developing a curriculum that effectively equips all young people, regardless of their personal circumstances or educational ability, for the opportunities, responsibilities and requirements of working life and embeds an appreciation of entrepreneurship.
- To maximise the value and positive outcomes of employer engagement for all stakeholders including the business community, schools, colleges, training providers, support agencies and the young people themselves.
- To support the professional development of teachers, trainers and advisers to maintain and increase industrial/sector understanding and knowledge.
